Adam Hocker founded Future Profits Consulting, LLC in April 2018 with the mission to give agricultural business owners more control over their profitability. Understanding that commodity prices are volatile, FPC helps integrate actual financial and production information into a dynamic model to help forecast business profitability. FPC uses this model to drive execution of a risk management plan with the goal being to reduce risk and increase operational profitability. This empowers business owners to make decisions with confidence so they can grow their business and enjoy life.

 

Adam Hocker, Owner and Consultant

Adam is responsible for leading FPC, in addition to consulting with clients. Prior to this, Adam worked for Brenneman Pork as a Controller and CFO for 10 years where he headed up risk management, production analysis and financial reporting efforts. Along with managing FPC, Adam also owns and operates 21,000 pig spaces for Brenneman Pork and he and his family have 800 acres of row crop operations. Adam’s experience in production agriculture, business finance and commodity market risk management allows FPC to bring value to their clients in multiple facets.

Adam has 17 years of experience in the financial and agricultural industries. He is a graduate of Coe College with a BBA in Business and Economics.

Adam is married to Olivia and has 3 children Grant (13), Ava (11) and Ian (7). They live in Williamsburg, IA.

           

Trevor Smith, Accounting Specialist


Trevor joined FPC in May 2019 after graduating from Central College with a degree in Accounting and Finance. Trevor grew up raising hogs and cattle outside of Audubon,  Iowa. He is responsible for upkeeping clients' models along with doing accounting for FPC.




Jared Schmidt, Consultant


Jared joined FPC in January 2020 as a consultant. Jared grew up on a row crop farm in Northeast Iowa. Jared has an undergraduate degree from Wartburg College and a graduate degree from Northern Arizona University. He has 17 years of experience helping farmers transition the farm from one generation to the next. In his role with FPC, Jared looks to help clients experience consistent profitability.
